Cathay Pacific has grounded most of its Airbus A350-1000 fleet after discovering engine component failures following an in-flight incident on CX383 from Hong Kong to Zurich. The airline had to cancel at least 34 flights as a result, as inspectors found that 15 of their A350-1000 aircraft needed parts replaced. Rolls-Royce, the manufacturer of the affected engines, has been included in the ongoing investigation and is working with the airline to replace the faulty components. Although the repairs are happening, there are still expectations for flight disruptions in the near future.
