Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is pursuing a legal claim to recover up to $4 billion from the estate of Mike Lynch, a tech entrepreneur who recently died after his yacht sank. The claim stems from fraud allegations related to Autonomy, a company Lynch co-founded which was acquired by HP for $11.1 billion in 2011. HPE alleges that Lynch defrauded them, accusations he denied. A UK court had previously sided with HPE in 2022 regarding these fraud claims.
