Teenage E-Cigarette Use Continues to Decline
Published On Sep 5, 2024, 1:04 PM
A recent survey indicates a significant decrease in vaping among teenagers, with e-cigarette usage among high school students dropping to the lowest levels in a decade. The findings show that fewer than 8% of high school students reported vaping in the past month, down from over 27% in 2019. This decline is attributed to public health initiatives, flavor bans, and enforcement against illegal sales of vaping products. The overall teenage vaping rate is slightly below 6%.
