Inflation is cooling. So why is orange juice so expensive right now?

The price of frozen orange juice is rising significantly due to a global shortage of oranges caused by adverse weather conditions and a spreading tree disease known as citrus greening, particularly affecting Brazil, which produces 70% of the world's orange juice. Additionally, price hikes in imported frozen orange juice concentrate are also contributing to the increase. The situation is complicated by production costs and market dynamics, where more profitable products are prioritized over frozen juice. As a result, consumers can expect high prices for orange juice to persist.
