Lawyers representing 37 women have announced plans to sue Harrods, alleging that its former owner, Mohamed al-Fayed, committed numerous sexual assaults during his tenure. The claims come in light of a BBC documentary that reveals a pattern of misconduct. The lawyers argue that Harrods facilitated an unsafe working environment that enabled al-Fayed's alleged abuses. Harrods, now owned by Qatar's sovereign wealth fund, expressed shock and dismay at the allegations.
