Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) announced a £500 million investment to upgrade its Halewood facility to produce electric versions of the Range Rover Evoque and Discovery Sport, as part of a larger £15 billion commitment to electric vehicles. This transformation aims to make Halewood JLR's first all-electric production facility by 2025, despite the factory continuing to produce combustion and hybrid models for the time being. The upgrade will include new robotics and production capabilities to enhance efficiency.
