Will Netflix raise prices again? Analysts think so
Published On Oct 17, 2024, 6:00 AM
Analysts believe Netflix is likely to raise its subscription prices soon, following trends seen with other streaming services. Currently, U.S. subscribers pay $6.99 for the ad-supported plan, and $15.49 for the Standard plan. The last price increase occurred in late 2023. Experts from Oppenheimer expect an 8%-15% hike to the Standard plan, observing it hasn't changed price since January 2022. Netflix's competitive position and strengthened content offerings are seen as supporting factors for a price increase.
