Baby powder recall expands over possible asbestos contamination

Published On Oct 30, 2024, 7:56 AM

Dynarex Corporation has expanded its recall of baby powder products due to potential asbestos contamination. Initially announced in September 2024, the recall now includes more cases from multiple batches linked to the same health risk. The recalled baby powder was distributed across 35 states and sold on platforms including Amazon. The FDA identified the contamination during routine testing, prompting an investigation and further recall action. No adverse health events have been reported, but consumers are advised to discontinue use and return the products for a refund.
