Baby milk: Parents warned they are paying over the odds

Parents in the UK have been warned they are overpaying for baby milk due to a lack of competition in the market, dominated by just two companies, Danone and Nestle. The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) highlighted concerns about the high prices and the misconception that higher prices equate to better quality, while also contemplating potential regulatory changes. Although not currently recommending price controls, such measures remain a possibility as parents have been burdened with rising costs in recent years.
