Lowe's has announced a $2.5 million fund to support small businesses in North Carolina affected by Hurricane Helene. This financial aid is part of a larger $12 million pledge for disaster relief, aimed at helping local businesses recover and navigate the aid process after the SBA has run out of disaster assistance loans. The initiative is designed to enable about 100 businesses to receive $20,000 each for covering expenses like payroll and equipment replacement, allowing them to reopen and benefit from holiday sales.
