The CDC confirmed a Norovirus outbreak on the Coral Princess cruise ship operated by Princess Cruises, with 55 passengers and 15 crew members reporting illness during a month-long journey from Singapore to the U.S. While the outbreak was reported on November 9, the ship arrived in Los Angeles on November 17. The CDC stated that cases reported were cumulative over the voyage, and the cruise line has enhanced cleaning protocols in response to the outbreak.
