Yelloh, the frozen food delivery service formerly known as Schwan’s Home Delivery, is closing after decades of decline exacerbated by poor rebranding efforts. The company, which once thrived on its direct-to-consumer model across rural America, faced insurmountable challenges including economic factors, changing consumer habits, and stiff competition from membership stores like Costco. The closure will result in approximately 1,100 job losses across 13 states.
