Bottega Veneta has appointed Louise Trotter as its new creative director, replacing Matthieu Blazy, who is expected to move to Chanel. Trotter, known for her successful tenure at Carven, will become Kering's only female creative director among its luxury brands. During Blazy's time, Bottega Veneta saw a growth in revenue by 4%, while other Kering brands experienced declines. Trotter is expected to bring a mature, refined aesthetic to the brand, focusing on timeless design. Her debut collection will be presented at Paris Fashion Week in October 2025.

Stock Forecasts

Bottega Veneta has shown resilience under Matthieu Blazy, achieving a sales increase amid struggles for other Kering brands. With Louise Trotter's strong design background and previous success revitalizing Carven, there is potential for continued positive growth as she brings a mature aesthetic to the brand. Investors should look out for the brand's performance in the luxury market as Trotter begins her tenure. However, changes in leadership can create uncertainty.
