Evan Williams, co-founder of Twitter and Medium, has launched a new app called Mozi, aimed at fostering real-life connections among friends. This initiative comes after personal reflections on loneliness and the desire to strengthen friendships, particularly post-pandemic. The app is designed to be more social than traditional social media, moving away from likes and posts, to instead help users know where their friends are living and traveling.
