Avanti West Coast strike at Christmas suspended

Avanti West Coast has suspended planned strike action by train managers during the Christmas period following a new offer made by the RMT rail union, which includes higher payments for rest days and adjustments to work arrangements. Train managers will vote on this new offer, with the referendum concluding on December 17.
