TuSimple, a Chinese self-driving truck company, has rebranded as CreateAI and shifted its focus to the video game and animation industry. This pivot comes after the company's challenges in the self-driving sector, including safety concerns and financial issues. CEO Cheng Lu aims for CreateAI to break even by 2026, with potential revenues reaching hundreds of millions in 2027 from a game based on Jin Yong's martial arts novels. CreateAI expects to significantly reduce production costs for high-quality video games and has introduced its first AI model, Ruyi, for visual projects.
