Manchester United has unveiled plans for a new, £2 billion, 100,000-capacity stadium adjacent to their current home, Old Trafford. The stadium will feature a unique umbrella design and a surrounding public plaza, with ambitions to create the world's greatest football venue. Construction is expected to take five years, with additional regeneration projects in the area potentially bringing significant economic benefits, such as 92,000 new jobs and £7.3 billion in annual economic contributions.
