Canada's postal workers have initiated a nationwide strike due to unresolved disputes over pay and working conditions. This strike, announced by the Canadian Union of Postal Workers, involves approximately 55,000 workers and is expected to halt all operations of Canada Post, significantly disrupting mail and parcel deliveries just before the holiday season. Canada Post's management had proposed a 11.5% wage increase over four years, but the union found these offers inadequate.
