Airbus is preparing for potential new tariffs from the U.S. government, possibly a 10% tariff on all imports, particularly due to the upcoming presidential election and the economic stance of Republican candidate Donald Trump. CEO Guillaume Faury mentioned that the company would likely pass these higher costs onto airlines, affecting their profit margins. Despite these tariffs, Airbus reported a 22% increase in net profit for the first nine months of the year, indicating strong financial health despite supply chain challenges.
