American Freight closing all stores amid parent company's bankruptcy filing

American Freight is closing all 328 of its stores as its parent company, Franchise Group Inc., undergoes Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings. The company is initiating store closing sales with discounts of up to 30% on various products, including furniture and appliances. Franchise Group Inc. also owns other brands such as Pet Supplies Plus and The Vitamin Shoppe, which will continue their operations despite the bankruptcy.
