Cathay Pacific has canceled at least 34 round-trip flights due to inspections of its Airbus A350 fleet, prompted by a Rolls-Royce engine issue that occurred on one aircraft. The airline discovered that 15 planes required repairs after an incident caused one flight to return to Hong Kong shortly after takeoff. As inspections continue, Cathay expects all flights to resume by Saturday. Rolls-Royce, the engine manufacturer, experienced a notable drop in stock price initially but has since seen some recovery after confirming that spare parts are available for repairs.
