Company plans to track workers' locations in return-to-office crackdown

PwC has announced a new policy for its U.K. branch requiring employees to be in the office at least three days a week starting January 2025, an increase from the previous two to three days. The firm will actively track employee location data to ensure compliance with this return-to-office mandate. The aim is to enhance client service and improve team collaboration. This shift towards stricter office attendance follows a trend among firms, particularly in the tech sector, as remote work policies evolve post-pandemic.
