Tesla has unveiled its long-awaited autonomous robotaxi, named the Cybercab, which is expected to be priced under $30,000 and will launch by 2026. The Cybercab is fully autonomous, lacking steering wheels and pedals, and will utilize wireless charging. During the launch event, Tesla also revealed a larger autonomous vehicle called the Robovan, designed for up to 20 passengers or cargo, although no details on pricing or release date were provided. The Cybercab is seen as a strategic move to leverage Tesla's full self-driving capabilities, especially with the upcoming rideshare service which could significantly increase the utility of Tesla vehicles.

Stock Forecasts

With the introduction of the Cybercab robotaxi and its anticipated low price point, there may be increased interest from consumers and potential expansion into the rideshare market. This could drive sales growth and enhance Tesla's market position significantly in the autonomous vehicle sector.
