Train drivers in the UK have voted to accept a new pay deal proposed by their union, Aslef, effectively ending over two years of strikes that caused significant disruptions. The agreement includes pay raises of 5% for the 2022-23 period, 4.75% for 2023-24, and 4.5% for 2024-25, alongside an assurance that working conditions will not change. The deal was favored by 96.6% of voting union members, marking a historic resolution to the longest train drivers' strike in UK history.
