The Trump administration informed major news organizations, including The New York Times and NBC News, that they would be replaced in their Pentagon office spaces by more right-leaning outlets like Breitbart News and One America News. The change is part of a new annual media rotation program designed to give nontraditional news organizations access to the Pentagon press corps, although the removed outlets will still retain their membership and can attend briefings.
