This decision from parent company Yum Brands was made to promote better collaboration among its brands, following Texas's business-friendly policies that attract companies. Kentucky's governor expressed disappointment over the move. Additionally, Yum Brands indicated plans for its remote U.S. employees to return to in-office work over the next 18 months as part of an effort to improve company culture.
