Costco announces 9 new stores opening in 2025, starting with 6 in March

Costco is set to open nine new warehouse stores in 2025, including six in various U.S. cities like Brentwood and Highland, California, Prosper and Weatherford, Texas, Genesee County, Michigan, and Sharon, Massachusetts by mid-March. The retailer is also expanding internationally, with future stores planned in Japan and Australia. This growth comes on the heels of a strong sales report for January 2025, where Costco saw a 9.2% increase in net sales compared to the previous year, totaling $19.51 billion.
