Sony Pictures Entertainment is seeking bids from major media and tech companies for the streaming rights to the game shows "Jeopardy!" and "Wheel of Fortune." These shows have traditionally aired on broadcast television but are now being considered for streaming due to changing viewer habits. The initial streaming rights are set to begin in September and will allow for the streaming of new episodes one day after they air. Exclusive same-day streaming rights will be available starting in September 2028, following existing syndication agreements.
